This is my 10ft pole. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
My pole is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must
master my life. Without me, my pole is useless. Without my pole, I am
useless. I must spring the traps with my pole. I must use it more
dilligently than my enemy uses his trap, for he is trying to kill me.
I must trip the trap with my pole before I am caught in it. I will.
Before God I swear this creed: my pole and myself are protectors of my
party, we are the masters of my enemy's traps, we are the saviors of
my life. So be it, until there is no enemy traps, but peace. Amen.
